[Subclipse-users] Bug: Wrong encoding in annotate view

From: Jens Seidel <jensseidel_at_users.sourceforge.net>

Hi,

according to the bug tracker, I have first to report the problem here.
(This is the reason why many errors can just not be found in the
tracker, but OK ...)

I noticed that the Annotate view displays all files in the wrong
encoding. My 8 bit characters (German umlauts such as ö, ä, ü) are always
displayed as (a question mark in a circle). This happens not with the
log message but only with the file and the quick view displays it also
right (the opposite situation was true a few month before, see
http://svn.haxx.se/subusers/archive-2007-03/0112.shtml).

I use the de_DE.UTF-8 locale. Switching to C locale I get (the same
symbol twice) for each 8 bit character!

I use SVNKit, Eclipse 3.3.0 and Subclipse 1.2.3 (but
org.tigris.subversion.subclipse.doc is still version 1.2.0!?).
My Subversion configuration doesn incude any encoding settings.

Please confirm this bug.

PS: I'm not subscribed.

Jens
