[Subclipse-users] partial commit in synchronize view leaves inconsistent state

From: Stephan Herrmann <stephan_at_cs.tu-berlin.de>

Using subclipse 1.2.1 in Eclipse 3.3RC1 I frequently see the following behavior:

1. I open the synchronize view (mode: both incoming and outgoing)
with several pending outgoing changes (OK)
2. I commit only some of those pending changes (OK)
3. After that commit several directories are displayed as having incoming changes
(none of them are actually changes) (WRONG)
4. Sometimes the file I just committed re-appears in one of those newly appeared
directories, again marked as an outgoing change. (WRONG)
5. Oh, one of the actual pending outgoing changes appears twice now (WRONG).

I have to perform useless updates on those items, to get rid of the incoming changes marking.
The outgoing change displays only one difference: the expanded/non-expanded view of '$Id$'
I find no way how to get rid of the outgoing change.

As far as I can remember the behavior was roughly the same with 1.2.0 in Eclipse 3.3RC1.

regards,
Stephan
