[Subclipse-users] svn: Unable to open repository and JavaHL/JavaSVN/svnClientAdapter

Hi,

when trying to browse an existing svn repository, I get the following
error:

svn: Unable to open an ra_local session to URL
svn: Unable to open repository

the svn repository is functional, and can be accessed using svn from
command line. I can even commit projects to the repo using subclipse, if
I connected the project to the repo using command line svn.

I understand that subclipse differs from svn by using svnClientAdapter
and either of JavaHL, the Subversion command line, or JavaSVN, so I
suspect there lies the problem.

When trying to connect to repo from subclipse, who is the user
responsible for the operation? This might be also relevant, since my svn
repo resides in a fuse mounted directory (http://fuse.sourceforge.net/),
and the user responsible for the connection should be given permission
to access the fuse mounted directory.

Thanks for any tips,
Firas.
