dont think thats the problem, I tried the following also
<checkout url="svn://10.0.52.139/WebApp1" destPath="C:/ant_svn_test"/>

so basically the following works:
$> svn co -r HEAD svn://10.0.52.139/WebApp1

but follwoing syntax does not
$> svn co -r HEAD svn://10.0.52.139/WebApp1_at_HEAD
In this case i get an error
svn: URL 'svn://10.0.52.139/AOLWeb1_at_HEAD' doesn't exist
