As I understand it, Ubuntu still has not fixed the problem.
Subversion made a fix to JavaHL for this, but all they could do was
prevent the crash. The library still cannot work correctly due to the
way APR is being built.

You probably would need to build Subversion and APR from source, or
follow the 6.10 instructions again, which basically does the same
thing but using the packages.
