Team->Revert is to revert your working copy back to the state it was in when
you checked it out (i.e. discard your modifications).

You can however show the file history and revert to a previous revision. I
don't remember the exact steps within the history view but I know you can do
it. Possible right click on the previous revision and select Revert to...

I made a change to a file, committed that change, then right-clicked on the
file in my working copy and said "Revert" just to see what would happen, but
nothing did. Shouldn't revert have done something in this case, such as
cancellng the just committed change in the repository or working copy? Or
have I missed the point of using revert?
