[Subclipse-users] Synchronize view weirdness

Changing the preference affects it for me.

Ok, I just tested this a bunch of times. Changing the preference to on
(meaning to show the folders) works, but then subsequently changing it
to off requires a restart of eclipse to take effect (at least for me).

Because the folder is not an outgoing change unless you have changed the
properties on the folder.
