We could only be indirectly responsible, such as not using an SVN API
correctly. We do not do any I/O ourselves. Anecdotally, it would
certainly seem valid to think that something about the upgrade process
triggered the problem. Perhaps when Alex reads all of this he will think
of some possibilities.
