I beg to differ as to where one can find this on the site.
Clicking Downloads does not get one there.
Clicking on Installation does not get one there.
Clicking "For all svnAnt, svnClientAdapter and Eclipse 2.x, downloads can be found here:"
http://subclipse.tigris.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentList
non-intuitively gets one to the documents and files page which eventually leads to the files I need.
Can this be improved?

We do publish zip files. They are here:

This link is also on our home page.
We are only providing zip files for the current "release version". The
1.1.x builds are considered a development stream and do not have zip
files. That is stated on the page for that stream:
http://subclipse.tigris.org/callisto.html
Either the next release or the one after that will be called a RC build
and I will make a zip file for it.
