Then this is a bug in the libraries :)
Though not a bug in the subclipse code it is a bug from the user/UI
perspective in the subclipse "product"

I was unable to see it there in the version I have (used eclipse 3.2,
set update URL and hit "OK" to install subclipse plugin yesterday)
I only saw the below in the window->preferences panel and there are
no (SVN library) or (SSH client, net or connection) controls under these.
- Team
- SVN
- Console
- Diff/Merge
- Label Decorations
In any case I spent a number of hours setting up and configuring
Apache2 and SSL last night, still not finished in I need to set up
client certificates, it would be nice if ssh worked.
