I'd do Help -> About configuration and then look at the Java settings that
are listed. Some setting must still not be english. If you are on
Windows I think that the JRE picks up its defaults from the Windows
Regional Settings in the Control Panel. Still, you should be able to
override it with the right command line argument.

Right, there is no such feature in Subclipse.
