Hello Mark,

Thanks for your quick reply! After reading the post where you referred
to I turned off the "Show out of date folders" option and refreshed my
Synchronize-view. However, the parent folders are still marked as
updated. What do you suggest?

This has nothing to do with keyword expansion. It is normal expected
behavior. See this from the archvives:
