Bringing up the dialog in my workspace, that appears to be normal, and
given that the right value is output in the Console it doesn't really
matter. The output in the Console is coming out of the API, so that
reflects what we passed into it.

Are you a new user? If not did you do merges with previous versions where
this did not happen? There has not been a lot done in this area in recent
releases. 1.1.6 added new checkboxes for Ignore Ancestry and Force, but
other than that there have not been any changes I can recall.

I do merges very regularly.
