I agree. It does not make sense that it is smart enough to create a
workspace in your home folder as default, but not all of these other
settings too. I would guess there is already an issue filed, so you might
just want to search first.

I have an RCP-based app that my company sells. Our Windows installer adds
in all of these command line options to the shortcut we create because we
ran into scenarios where a user was not authorized to the location where
the app was installed so when they would run the app it could not create
its configuration area. That is how I discovered these options.
