First off, are you using the latest version of Subclipse? Version should
be 1.0.3.

I just fixed a problem with Compare with -> Latest, but it is not in a
release yet. It did not work when there was spaces in the file name, but
I imagine there might have been other scenarios. Compare with -> Revision
should work OK.

Compare and Update are not related to each other. You would have a very
hard time convincing me that Team -> Update does not work for you. I'd
need to know more info if you want to pursue that.

I use Subclipse in RAD every day.
