though I am _not_ this mailing list's admin, I seriously doubt that
anything can be done against it by the ML admins.

How would you prevent any 3rd party to offer an archive of a mailing
list? It is perfectly legal to do so and no obligation whatsoever exists
to obfuscate email addresses.

If you post to any ML, you are aware that your email address may be used
by any type of email harvesters (they may even have subscribed as
"regular" users and get the mails straight into their harvesting
queue ...). If you don't like this, you should not post to public
mailing lists.
