[Subclipse-users] New files not auto-added to version control

I was reading about SVN patching and discovered that you can get
Subclipse "create patch" to recognize new files if you Team->Add
them. Now, is there any reason why new Java classes aren't added like
that automatically. It's not as if that operation permanently adds
them to the repository right? Rather, it "schedules" them for
addition. I noticed that when you Source->Move a file it removes in
one place and actually adds in the other, rather than saying that the
one in the new location is un-versioned.
