[Subclipse-users] Merge multiple projects

From: Gary McWilliams <gary_mcwilliams_at_lagan.com>

I have a fairly standard repo:

<repo>/trunk/project1
<repo>/trunk/project2

Project1&2 are standard eclipse java projects

I have a branch that mirrors this (i.e. I'm working on a branch that I
need to keep in-sync with trunk whilst I do-my-thing).

<repo>/branches/branchname/project1
<repo>/branches/branchname/project2

I have checked out the projects from the branch, by using the default
'check out as project into workspace'

So, now I'm working on the branch and want to merge changes from trunk.

My "problem" is that the 'merge' option only appears when I select a
single project (and right-click). If I shift-select all projects and
right-click, the merge option is disabled.

Is there a way to merge multiple projects from trunk to branch in one
step?

(in real-world I have 28 projects, so doing it one-by-one will be a
small pain).

I've tried this by adding a repo-location of
<repo> (and navigating to branches/branchname)
<repo>/branches (and navigating to branchname)
<repo>/branches/branchname
this makes no difference.
