[Subclipse-users] Eclipse 3.2 on OS X 10.4 installation problem

Please bear with me - I'm moving to an Apple for the first time in a
dozen years (from a Windows world), so I'm struggling with what may be
simple issues.

I'm trying to get my Eclipse development environment established. I
am using Eclipse 3.2 (I had to, as 3.1 would not run due to
UnsatisfiedLinkErrors with carbon; I'm running a new MacBook Pro).
When I try to install the subclipse plugin within Eclipse, everything
works as it used to up until the point where I would actually run the
installation (after accepting the license). The dialog shows me where
the plugin will be installed (/Applications/eclipse), but the Finish
and Next buttons are disabled and the Disk space shows Unknown. So I
can't actually complete the installation.

I've downloaded and installed svn from Metissian, and I'm able to use
command line svn. (I have no idea whether that even matters.)

Any ideas? Please keep in mind that as far as my platform goes, I'm a
newbie - please treat me gently! :)
