Well, I'm currently a mostly passive observer, did not have a chance to
use subclipse beyond simple experimentation, but in general I am missing
merge history a lot in subversion. I.e. you have to manually do the
bookkeeping of what changeset has been merge from where to where etc..
Svk does some bookkeeping here, and also offers repository replication.
I actually think many of us will use svk for replication anyways.

So... what about making the subclipse merge dialog understand merge
history from svk, and be smart about which changesets to merge? And
after the merge subclipse could also record the merge in the repository
in svk compatible format. Not a seamless integration of the two, but a
start. What do you think?

I'm probably asking too much if I dream of subclipse sitting on top of
svk instead of svn, right?
