I am sorry, but I guess I just do not understand what you are trying to
accomplish and why. Generally you would either checkout into the root of
your workspace or into some other folder altogether. If you are trying to
checkout into an existing project in your workspace, then that is
something you cannot do. svn:externals would be the way to do this.
