moreover, I asked Subclipse to add the files to the repository, but the "add" menu item is disabled!
Indeed, TortoiseSVN shows that file (correctly!) as modified, but not as missing.
So how to convince Subclipse that the file is modified but not missing?
If you don't believe I can send you a screenshot of Subclipse's badges and Tortoise's badges.

sorry for posting to the wrong list.
I checked it and now I am scared a bit.
The "unversioned files" are really marked as "unversioned" in Subclipse, but actually those had been versioned before the merge and no one removed the file from the repository.
So it looks somehow Subclipse made SVN to "forget" about files.
That's really strange.
What to do to prevent this in future?

You sent this to the wrong mailing list.
But to answer your question, like the CVS Eclipse plugin, Subclipse shows
the modified decorator if you have any unversioned and unignored files.
TortoiseSVN does not.
If you followup, please do so on the correct mailing list.
