That is not what HEAD means in Subversion, I think that might be what it
means in CVS. Subversion does not have any special branches, it is just a
file system. HEAD is simply a convention for the "youngest or current
revision" of the repository.

I think that might explain why there is some confusion in what we are both
saying.
