[Subclipse-users] SVNStatusSubscriber and svn:ignored directories...

From: Ashley Collins <acollin2_at_hotmail.com>

Hello,

I use Subclipse with quite a large Maven based project which uses the Sysdeo
Tomcat Eclipse plugin.

After a recent Subclipse upgrade I've noticed that the SVNStatusSubscriber
takes a long time to scan the "target" directory produced by a Maven build
and the "work" directory used by the Sysdeo Plugin. But, these directories
are already listed in the top level project directories "svn:ignore"
property.

So, I need to run a "maven clean" and delete the Tomcat Sysdeo "work"
directory if I want a timely "Synchronize with Repository". Otherwise, most
of my project files are scanned about 3 times (once for the real files, once
for Maven and once for Tomcat)

Is this expected behaviour?

Thanks.
Ashley
