[Subclipse-users] Handling of symbolic links not working correctly

From: Paul Austin <mail-lists_at_revolsys.com>

I have an issue with using subclipse with a repository that contains
symbolic links. This is similar to issue 193 which was marked as being
resolved.

http://subclipse.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=193

In the project their are sym links to other directories in the same
project and to files from another project (which also is SVN managed).
In both these cases SVN marks all the files and directories below the
sym link as being new files, when it should in fact ignore the files all
together.

I am running the following environment.

Gentoo Linux 2.6.13
Eclipse 3.1.1 built from source by Gentoo ebuild
Subclipse 0.9.106
java version "1.4.2_10"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_10-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_10-b03, mixed mode)

Cheers,
Paul
