[Subclipse-users] Irritating merge dialog behaviour

Hi,

I've come across some really irritating behaviour in the merge dialog box.

When I want to chose my revision to start from, I click on the Show Log and
select the revision by looking at the descripion, click OK and subclipse
fills out the start revision as you'd expect to be that number and sets the
end revision to be 1 bigger: this is kind of what you'd expect and is fine.
But I want a different end revision, so I click Show Log next to that,
select the one I want, and subclipse fills out the end revision to that
value. Unfortunately it also overwrites the start revision to be 1 less.

Obviously the work around is to engage your brain and just remember the
revision number you want for the brief period it takes to cancel the log
dialog and write it in the revision box yourself.

Is there any particular reason it behaves like this that I'm missing? I
can't think of one, in which case it should probably be changed to not
overwrite the other box if there's something already in it.

Thanks,

Dave
