AFAIK, the answer to both is no. It really is not a Subclipse issue
per-se. The adapter you use handles all of this, and the adapter has an
interface we implement to do the prompting. In the case of JavaHL, it does
not currently have any code to use the interface and ask you for this
information. I do not know if JavaSVN does it or not. You should
definitely try that adapter option and see. It is possible that they would
implement this feature if they do not already.
