again: overwriting resource -> deleted and not modified

Hi,

A while ago I noticed that when overwriting a resource the resource was
marked as deleted in svn, while I'd expected it to be modified. Mark
replied (here:
http://subclipse.tigris.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=users&msgNo=4279) that
it might be an Eclipse bug and not a subversion bug. Today however I
encountered the same bug on a 3.0 version of Eclipse that I use for
work, and not the 3.1 version I use at home. Also I'm pretty sure that
in the past it worked correctly with other versions of subclipse. Is
there any (easy) way confirm that this is either an Eclipse or subclipse
bug? It's really annoying because now I have to revert the overwrite,
switch to the navigator view and overwrite again.

If I have some more spare time I'll try to downgrade subclipse versions
to see if the behaviour changed in some release.
