status indicators for container resources do not show when child resources are outside version control?

hi,

when you have a folder in your project, which contains an unversioned
resource, there is no icon on the folder indicating this fact. This
means that you can't tell at a glance if your project has any changes
w.r.t. the base revision - you would have to drill down to check each
leaf resource does not have a question mark icon against it.

You can compare a top-level container to the base revision with the
Compare... submenu as a workaround, but I think it would be very neat to
have an icon showing that there is a new resource in a folder. (It could
maybe just reuse the modified icon? although some ppl. might object to
this..)

what do people think?

thanks,
Andrew
