Can I see who has a file locked within Eclipse (Part 2)

Hi everyone,

this issue has already been discussed on the mailing list, but I would like
to raise it once more.
This is the history so far:

Maybe it's easier to let the 'Lock' command check the repository in front.
Just to make sure the resource is not locked by someone else?
