Yes, but from the exception you've posted it looks like you're accessing
subversion server over http protocol. That means that you have subversion
modules installed into apache web server, these modules doesn't use
"svnserve" and may be at different version. To check that you may open your
respository URL in the web browser - version will be displayed at the bottom
of the page.
