Have you tried both JavaSVN and JavaHL? Sorry if you already mentioned
that.

Subclipse just runs the equivalent of svn info. It sounds like the adapter
is giving back some information, but a null for the URL.

Shared WC's are often problematic. Could there be any permissions issues?
