Sync view is trying to manage synchronizations in a "first in -
first our" way, so if you want to have some sync permanent you can pin
it (this is very similar to pinning editors in Eclipse).

Synchronize view can show sync info for one, multiple or all
projects from within choosen working set or from entire worksplace.
See a standard "Sync Wizard" for more details.
Sometimes it is convenient to have several working sets (even when
working with other views) and switch between these to hide/show
relevnt resources.

In some cases you may have no control on "add to ignore list", so
Sync view allow to remove resources from view. This will work even
between synchronizations untill you'll remove and reopen sync (well,
at least this is how it work for CVS)

   Double click?
It is probably still missing feature in Subclipse to allow to
create patch from Sync view.

Subclipse is still little behind CVS support in Sync view, but it
is getting better and better.
