Russel,

Would you mind explaining, in excruciating detail, exactly how your
ssh-agent is setup/started, how you get it to ask for your passphrase,
and then the relevant environment variables and maybe a pstree output?
Also, your .xsession, .xinitrc, .bashrc and .bash_profile would be
helpful. I have spent entirely too much time on this, but now it's
personal :-)

I will figure this out one way or another. Eclipse/Subclipse/JavaSVN
will not get the better of me!
