Compare with Base Revision highlights every line

Problem:

After changing a single line and then performing "Compare with Base
Revision", all lines are highlighted in blue. However, "Compare with
Latest From Repository" works fine (highlights one line). This is a
major problem when using the synchronize view to commit massive changes,
since I cannot appear to select the comparison target to work around the
bug.

Environment:

* Client

* WinXP SP2
* Eclipse 3.1
* Subclispe 0.9.33
* Java 1.4.2_04

* Server

* Linux Fedora FC1
* subversion-1.1.4-1.1
* svnserve under xinetd
* Using svn URLS

Is this a known problem? Are there any workarounds? Do you need more
info?
