So an option such as "Mark as deleted" in the Synchronize perspective?
Next to "Revert" when right clicking on a file.

Now that I understand what's going on, I'll hang in there until the
feature creeps into Subclipse.

Or, on the other hand, perhaps this *IS* something that Subclipse
can/should figure out on its own automagically. I believe the CVS plugin
does. I'm sure the Subclipse developers can figure this out if they
decide that something should be done about it. My preference is towards
automagic if at all possible.
