Two things come to mind:

1) There is a global preference under Workspace -> Label decorators that
has to be turned on. I have never seen this not on for SVN.

2) The CDT view itself has to do its part to display the decorators. I
assume you are talking about their equivalent of the Package Explorer? In
the past I have seen the decorators in there. I will try installing the
latest release candidate when I get a chance and see if it works for me.
