I have the same requirements so don't worry. At a minimum, I think we
need to support 3.0 until we get a 1.0 release out there. Then, if there
are really compelling reasons to move to 3.1 we can make a 1.0.x branch
for Eclipse 3.0 so that we can backport important fixes.

The only reason I can think of for moving to Eclipse 3.1 is to use some of
the new SWT features that are available. Anything else can probably be
done compatibly with 3.0.
