OS X (Tiger) with Eclipse 3.1 + Subclipse 0.9.31 + Subversion 1.2 (Mettissian) = problem

Hi,

I just got a new Mac and I installed everything fresh and clean under
OS 10.4.1:

* Eclipse 3.1 final release
* Subversion 1.2 (via Mettissian package)
* Subclipse 0.93.1

I launch Eclipse 3.1 and I am able to get to the SVN repository view
(good sign that the JavaHL bindings are working), and then I right
click to add a new site to check out a project, but in the window
where you would use the drop down to select the SVN root folder, the
drop down never populates with anything and looks like it is not
working... and then if you continue and fill out username/password
you get a big time crash when clicking on Finish and eclipse 3.1 quits!

Anybody has had better luck with a similar setup?

I tried various things like:
* using the Darwinports subversion + Java bindings instead of
Metissian -> did not work
* switch the Java VM from 1.4.2 to 1.5.0 (which is avail on Tiger) ->
did not work
* install Eclipse 3.0.2 and Subclipse 0.93.1 -> this works, so
something tells me that Eclipse 3.1 + Subclipse 0.93.1 are not
dancing well together yet, at least on OS 10.4...

Thank you in advance for your suggestions!

Sébastien
