You could always create a zip of your sources, (no .svn directories), delete
it, check it out, unzip it into your workspace.

Thanks, but especially if there are a lot of other files around (which
are not part of the svn-repos) it is not comfortable "to start from
scratch" which points me to the next question which I will mail later.
