We have worked to define a common spec that all Subversion GUI's can
implement. TortoiseSVN was the first to support this, and now Subclipse
does as well. Here is the spec.

I am sure you are already parsing commit messages in post-commit hook. You
would continue to do so. This integration just make a better commit UI so
that the messages are consistently formatted making them easier for you to
parse. Also, in our history viewer we turn those references to issue ID's
in the commit message into clickable links to allow the user to open their
browser to the issue in your product.
