Something strange is going on. On the machine that is still at
0.9.21, I have no (lib)javahl.so anywhere and I have not set
LD_LIBRARY_PATH to anything yet subclipse works using JNI.

    $ locate javahl
    /home/dman/.eclipse/plugins/org.tigris.subversion.subclipse.core_0.9.21/svn-javahl.jar

(this is immediately after running 'updatedb')

On my other machine I upgraded to 0.9.22, with no other changes, and
subclipse ceased to function. I even tried copying 0.9.21 from the
machine that works (since the download is no longer available) but
that didn't work either.

Does anyone have any hypothesis that may explain why the machine with
0.9.21 works without libjavahl.so?

TIA,
