Thanks for the hint.

I was already compiling against subversion 1.1, which includes the
necessary lstdc++ patches.

However, I was compiling and installing through a modified Fedora
subversion 1.0.x RPM .spec file, and one of the patches in the .spec
actually disabled the libsvnjavahl linking, leaving the compiled library
with unresolved symbols. Took me a while to figure that one out (argh).

Everything's running fine and dandy now.

One additional question :

Is it beneficiary/compulsory to replace to subclipse_0.9.21-supplied
svn-javahl.jar with the subversion_1.1-compiled one ? They seem to
differ slightly.
