How to create trunk dir?

From: Mark Clarke <Mark_at_ClarkeConsulting.co.za>

Hi all,

I have just downloaded subeclipse and am using it with Eclipse 3.0. I
was wondering if it is possible to get subeclipse to import the project
into a trunk directory under the project name. i.e.

/application/trunk/<rest of stuff>

On the eclipse workspace this is naturally just
/application<rest of stuff>

I have read that this is the recommended dir layout on the repository.
Also should I check in the eclipse specific files like .project
,.classpath , .hibernatesynchroniser? I would like the repository to be
able to be downloaded and compiled by any java ide. I will need to
create a build.xml of course.

thanks
Mark
