Subclipse 0.9.3.1 -- Checkout As ...

I am not sure if the Checkout As... feature is working properly.

I have an Eclipse project loaded in my repository. I can do a Checkout As
Project no problem. I have copied the project to a branch and I wanted to
be able to use Checkout As ... so that I could give the branch project a
different name and have both projects loaded in my workspace.

When I do this, I get the New Project Wizard. I believe if a .project
file is present, it is supposed to just have an option to supply a new
project name. Anyway, after creating the new project, the checkout fails
when it gets to the .project file since it already exists. I am able to
use TortoiseSVN to get everything fixed up and the rest of the files
checked out, however, the Project is then not "registered" to Subclipse
within Eclipse so I cannot do any Team operations. My guess would be that
when the checkout fails, some processing does not occur that links the
project to Subclipse within Eclipse, so fixing it with Tortoise does not
really help.

Short of getting a fix, is there a way to manually fix this in my
workspace and get the projects linked up?

Thanks

Mark
