Java build directory

I'm using Eclipse 3.0M7, latest Subclipse. I have a Java project with a src working copy directory. The Java Builder is building to a bin directory. What seems to happen is that the .svn dirs are being copied over to the bin directory as resource files. This confuses TortoiseSVN and I also get some duplicate resource warnings when the project is built.

The way to ignore the .svn directory is to change the Java, Compiler, Build Path, Filtered Resources property (in 3.0M7). See my screenshot. Is it possible to have the plugin make this change when it is installed?
