javahl is not very different than svnup. This is the same thing (same
author) but included in subversion repository. The packages are
different and javahl will be updated, this is not the case of svnup.
The communication between the subversion client and server is not always
via WebDAV. There is not even always a server : when using file:///
there is a direct repository access.
That's why it's better to be linked against latest subversion release.
