I do not really see any improvement when this patch is applied. I checked
out a project with two nested projects. I then used Import to import one of
those projects as its own top-level project. This still seems to result in
a never ending process of doing something. I am showing the Heap monitor,
and it seems to show constant activity of something happening.

Also, that properties patch you sent has a dependency on this patch, so I
cannot really evaluate that patch until this one is committed, or the other
patch is changed.

Sorry, I know this is getting difficult because you have so many patches
queued up.
