The commit action from the Synch view just runs the same code as the
commit action from the Team menu. It was requested that unversioned files
should not be selected by default (which we used to do). So we added a
preference that controls this and made the default not select them.

Note, this has nothing to do with Synch. You would get the same behavior
if you selected the files from the Navigator view and did Team -> Commit.
If you do a Team -> Add first, then when you do commit, they will be
selected as the files are now a scheduled add.
