I agree. From a feature point of view, especially if the next release
brings some stability to the Synchronize feature, then I think we are at
or near a 1.0 stage. I do not think there is any essential features or
functionality left to add. Also, most of the worst bugs ought to be fixed
by the next release.

In my opinion the main things we need to do for a 1.0 release are:

1) Solidify and improve the documentation.
2) Create some docs around getting JavaHL working and add those to the web
site.

Maybe we should post the documentation to the web site and then add a link
to any JavaHL docs from the main page.

There are probably a couple of bugs we ought to tackle, but nothing comes
to mind as being critical.

I think we need to come up with a plan for completing the docs, and then
possibly solicit help from our users@ list.

I think we could get to a 1.0 stage sometime this summer, but that might
be optimistic.
